Pêra-Manca White is the brand which is reserved for the exceptional vintages, only bottled when the winemakers feel they merit this status. The white wines are made from the Antão Vaz and Arinto varieties. The wines display fruit on the nose, showing body and balance on the palate and are characterized with a long and lingering finish.
The red wines are made from Trincadeira and Aragonez varieties. They have a full-bodied rich flavour with arm ripe berry fruit characters, flavours of oak used in ageing and hints of dried fruit. The high quality tannins confer a natural longevity and the wines are intended for cellaring to release their full potential.
